About the Designer
Australian designer Hayley Kathryn has been in fashion and design from a very young age. Starting at the age of 9 with modelling and runway shows, Hayley then moved on to running and co-ordinating her own fashion shows ten years later. Hayley has always had a passion for her own creations and unique taste and started sewing her own swimsuits out of old dresses and other pieces of clothing at just 13 years old. Now with extensive experience in graphic design as well as fashion design Hayleys current wardrobe can breathe a sigh of relief as she now designs her own prints and fabrics.
Hayley Kathryn spent the last 2 years working alongside a Brazilian team to create her designer label of high end range of swimwear targeting an exclusive niche market which she launched in late 2009. As a former swimwear model Hayley recognized the difficulty in finding the perfect swimsuit for ones body and decided something needed to be done without resorting to separates. Cebiches cuts have been designed with every womans unique shape in mind to leave you feeling confident, comfortable and yet still sexy in the latest up to date styles, cuts and fabrics.
Inspired by sizzling summers, Cebiches sassy and flirtatious swimwear has hit our shores with a boom. The 2010/2011 collection consists of highly accessorised two-piece combinations using bright colours and bold prints to compliment you in and out of the water. When designing this collection, Hayley envisioned a woman who is not afraid to show her body and proud to embrace her individual sexuality. Each bikini has been named after someone important in her life who has left a lasting impression. These styles have a deeper meaning than just a bikini, each design holds a story and these stories have come from incredible experiences and cultures.
Hayley has now relocated back to Australia, where her desire to continue to produce fresh Brazilian styles has led to a vibrant 2nd collection which looks to be even more daring, while maintaining a very high level of class. Set to launch in September 2011, the luxurious 2012 collection is being manufactured right here in Australia. Hayley and her team are currently on the search to find the ambassador for the upcoming campaign. Close to 300 of Australias most beautiful women applied and this has excitingly been narrowed down to a final 3, the face of Cebiche will be announced mid June.
